Financial Understanding in the Organisation

The purpose is to strengthen your understanding of the financial relationships within the organisation, so you are better equipped to contribute to day-to-day management, prioritisation, and decision-making.

Whether you are an employee or a manager, you share responsibility for the company’s financial results. To take on this responsibility, you need knowledge of basic financial concepts and how they are connected. This includes areas such as managing labour costs, purchasing goods, consumption of stock, pricing, and upselling activities.

With insight into these areas, it becomes easier to work purposefully with key performance indicators and understand how your daily decisions impact the organisation’s overall financial performance. This provides a stronger foundation for gaining overview, optimising efforts, and contributing to a healthy financial result for the company.
